Board Meeting of HFC was held in Vivanta Hotel, Guwahati on August 25, 2019. Reports on various activities, audit and budget were presented. The presence and warm participation of Board members and special invitees made the meeting a success.
In partnership with TLA-ET and Good Books Educational Trust, HFC could organize two simultaneous programs for emerging leaders from September 2-7, 2019 in RRTC, Umran, Meghalaya. There were 35 participants. Dr. Asangla Ao, Mr. Jerry Lapang, Mr. Lee Deyoung and Dr. A K Lama were the resource persons. The training focused on the Art & Craft of writing, Counseling, and the Reformers.
On September 12 & 26, 2019 six rural workers were given away motor bikes to serve the community. This is done in collaboration with TLA-ET.
In partnership with TLA-ET and Good Books Educational Trust, HFC staff had a relaxing and fruitful time of a Staff-Retreat in SVD House, Guwahati from Jan 7-11, 2020. 35 field staffs, producers, program & project coordinators came together to evaluate, and plan the activities for 2020. Dr. A. K. Lama, Dr. Asangla, Mr, Pravir, Ms Suman and Ms Anshu led practical seminars. The presence of TLA Board members Ted and Eleanor was inspiring. Pray for an effective and fruitful year 2020.
